The Good News for Tesla:
Tesla got the $350 million Federal loan it was seeking. Congrats Tesla.

The Bad News for San Jose:
By all accounts, including this one just posted on the mercurynews.com, Tesla isn't really coming here anymore.

If the Merc's Tesla reporter Matt Nauman (or San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed) had been following the story, they would have realized that Tesla announced in early February at they were in "late stage" negotiations to build the San Jose plant in New Mexico...
